Happy New Year ARF Members,

I am sure many of you are ready for 2020 to be over and hopefully soon all of us will have the opportunity to get the vaccine. I know some return to normal would be most welcomed. We hope you can join us for one or both TED Talks where you will also have a chance to meet other ARF members. Note that the zoom link for each of these TED Talk dates will be sent out by Betsy Lindsey to all our members on the morning of the program.

For the TED Talks on Thursday-January 21st from 11 am till 12:30 pm the following two TED Talks will be viewed and discussed.

• “Three Secrets of Resilient People” by Lucy Hone (16:02)
• “How We Can Face the Future without Fear—-Together” by Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks (12:36)

Then the two TED talks on Thursday- March 18th from 11:00 am-12:30 pm will be the following.

• “From Life to Death, Beyond and Back” (17:12) by Thomas Fleischmann
• “I’ve Lived as a Man and a Woman” (15:25) by Paula Stone Williams.
